My name is Marty Wilson. I am a long time acoustic electric guitar player. Started when I was 13 years old and am now, well some, 30 some years later excited about sharing what I have gleaned along the way.My dad had an old Martin acoustic which my brother was using. After seeing how serious I was about playing the guitar, my dad got me a Gibson sunburst face guitar. It had no pickup at that time. I did use an external one and later got me a 12 string Takamine acoustic and electric guitar, also which I still have.

Several years ago I bought me a Washburn acoustic/electric which has a chorus on it that has come in real handy. The neck has a great feel for my hand size and the sound is great. I bought an electric Gibson SG at one point and some nice person broke into my house and stole it and 2 other guitars I had. Amazingly, they left me my original Gibson my dad gave me! Yep, it was right there on the stand in plain daylight where I left it! I have played both alone ,through the years, as well as with a choir and small bands.After my brother showed me a few chords,I taught myself how to play by listening to Joan Baez records everyday after school.

I am a left hander although I think it has made my left hand play with more dexterity when fingering the chords. People say I play double bass.I play the acoustic and electric guitar the regular way. You’ve got to use two hands anyway you look at it and it makes you more versatile with all types of electric and acoustic guitars. Playing the guitar has been my passion all these years and has been the one constant thing in my life. My plans are to make available to you all your acoustic electric guitar needs for sale here on this acoustic and electric guitars for sale site.
